We have helped tackle one important issue in the schools \u2013 Period Poverty \u2013 and tackled it head on with great success. Period poverty exists in all countries but is particularly evident in this<br \/>\nsmall community where even the most basic necessities are seen as a luxury. We are helping NECS by aiming to give all the pupils and<br \/>\nfemale teachers in both the primary school and secondary schools the support they need to get through their cycle with dignity. We are making re usable sanitary products using some of our recycled textiles.
