We were pleased to be able to send even more clothes to Zambia

We were so pleased to receive this email today

Dear Friends,

A belated Happy New Year to you all.
And here is another container ready to go to Zambia…This proved to be quite a good little lock down project.
Thank you to all the sponsors who made this possible…We could not have done it without all your generous donations. ( clothing, toys, etc)
This container is also filled with lots of children’s books donated by ‘ The World of Books’ ( 8 pallets) which is to go to primary schools to start new libraries.
Also, lots of sports kit kindly donated by the Sussex FA and Surrey FA as well as local clubs and supporters….This is all so much appreciated as all these sports kits will enable our charity to help start even more new teams
all over Zambia and beyond.
Many thanks go to Bags of Support for their clothes and shoes donations – these will all be incredibly well received when they arrive.
Then, there is medical equipment to go to Hospitals as well as many boxes of medical supplies etc. ( Mumba Children’s project will distribute these to wards in various hospitals and health clinics).
The charity’, Goods for Good’, has also donated boxes of NIKE trainers and clothing items that will be passed on to the Zambia National netball association and other worthy organisations in need of support.
Good things are happening and we are excited to be part of the chain of giving to our friends in need.
As part of this consignment, me and my friends here have spent many hours putting together 150 family gift boxes to be distributed to families in great need of support. This is to be done through my friends at Vision Foundation,Zambia, who have compiled a list of families living in great deprivation. We are grateful to our small army of volunteers who helped to make this possible….
Once we have enough funds to send the container, we will send you some pictures and feed back as the container eventually arrives in Zambia and the goods will be distributed to their final destinations.

With every best wish and kind regards,

Ben Van Nes.
